Rubén Rubio Ortiz

I move at the intersection where business and technology meet. I work as an AI Product Manager applying artificial intelligence to real products, but without losing sight of the journey that brought me here: I previously worked as a business analyst with a hybrid profile, combining the technical side with data management, and before that I come from the world of economics and public accounting. That variety allows me to approach problems from different angles.

I am an economist by training and I am currently completing my PhD at the University of Seville. Staying connected to research forces me to maintain methodological rigor, and I believe that quantitative foundation is an advantage when it comes to separating signals from noise.

I'm self-taught in programming and technology. In my free time I work on personal projects to learn new things and stay up to date, because I believe the best way to learn is by building.

I write about what I learn, experiment with new tools and enjoy translating technical advances into accessible language. Always learning. Learning by doing.
